These Seller Terms & Listing Rules govern the use of the Anything Marketplace platform by users who create or manage listings for vehicles, machinery, equipment or other goods.

Anything Marketplace Pty Ltd (“Anything Marketplace”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates an online marketplace that allows businesses and individuals to advertise goods for sale or lease.

By creating, publishing or managing listings on Anything Marketplace, you agree to comply with these Seller Terms.


1. Role of Anything Marketplace

Anything Marketplace operates an online advertising marketplace.

Anything Marketplace:

  • provides a platform for sellers to advertise items

  • connects buyers and sellers

  • provides enquiry tools and listing management tools.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • we do not own, sell or broker any listed items

  • we are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers

  • we do not verify ownership or legality of listed items

  • we do not guarantee the accuracy of listings.

Transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers.


2. Seller Eligibility

To list items on Anything Marketplace, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old

  • have legal authority to sell the item

  • comply with all applicable laws

  • provide accurate and truthful information.

Business sellers may be required to provide:

  • business name

  • ABN or ACN

  • dealership licence where required.

Anything Marketplace may request verification of seller identity.


3. Listing Accuracy Requirements

Sellers must ensure that all listing information is accurate and not misleading.

Listings must accurately describe:

  • make and model

  • year

  • specifications

  • condition

  • mileage or operating hours

  • ownership status

  • known faults or defects

  • price and inclusions.

You must not:

  • misrepresent the condition of an item

  • falsify mileage, hours or usage

  • advertise items you do not own

  • advertise items that do not exist

  • copy another seller’s listing without permission.

Listings must comply with Australian Consumer Law, including prohibitions against misleading or deceptive conduct.


4. Ownership and Authority to Sell

By publishing a listing you confirm that:

  • you own the item or

  • you have legal authority from the owner to sell it.

You must not list:

  • stolen goods

  • goods subject to undisclosed finance

  • goods subject to legal dispute

  • goods you do not have authority to sell.

Buyers may conduct PPSR searches or request proof of ownership.


5. Prohibited Listings

The following listings are not permitted:

  • stolen vehicles, machinery or goods

  • illegal goods

  • counterfeit goods

  • unsafe or prohibited items

  • listings intended to scam buyers

  • duplicate listings designed to manipulate visibility

  • listings designed to collect user data

  • listings that redirect buyers to off-platform scams.

Anything Marketplace may remove prohibited listings immediately.


6. Pricing Requirements

Sellers must ensure that prices listed are:

  • genuine

  • accurate

  • clearly stated.

Prices must not be misleading.

Sellers should clearly indicate if the price:

  • excludes GST

  • excludes delivery

  • excludes government charges.

If finance repayments are displayed, they must be clearly identified as estimates only.


7. Listing Content Rules

Listings may include:

  • images

  • descriptions

  • videos

  • specifications

  • documents.

All content must:

  • be accurate

  • not infringe copyright

  • not contain misleading claims

  • not contain offensive or unlawful material.

Images must represent the actual item being sold unless clearly labelled as a stock image.


8. Listing Quality Standards

Anything Marketplace may remove listings that:

  • contain insufficient information

  • contain misleading information

  • contain spam or promotional content unrelated to the item

  • contain poor quality or irrelevant images.

We may also request that sellers update or correct listings.


9. Seller Conduct

Sellers must:

  • respond honestly to enquiries

  • communicate respectfully with buyers

  • provide accurate information

  • not pressure buyers into unsafe transactions

  • not attempt to scam users.

Sellers must not:

  • harass users

  • send spam messages

  • solicit payments for non-existent items.


10. Dealer Accounts

Dealers and commercial sellers may have additional account features including:

  • dealer profiles

  • inventory management tools

  • advertising packages

  • analytics tools.

Dealers must ensure their listings comply with these Seller Terms.

Anything Marketplace reserves the right to suspend dealer accounts for misuse of the Platform.


11. Listing Removal

Anything Marketplace may remove listings at any time if they:

  • violate these terms

  • violate our Acceptable Use Policy

  • violate Australian law

  • create risk to users or the platform.

We may remove listings without notice where necessary.


12. Suspension or Termination

Anything Marketplace may suspend or terminate seller accounts if the seller:

  • posts fraudulent listings

  • repeatedly posts inaccurate information

  • engages in scams or fraud

  • violates marketplace rules

  • harms the integrity of the Platform.

Serious violations may result in permanent account bans.


13. Reporting Violations

Users may report listings or sellers that appear fraudulent, misleading or unlawful.

Reports may be made via:

We investigate reports and may remove listings or suspend accounts where appropriate.


14. Liability

Anything Marketplace is not responsible for:

  • the accuracy of seller listings

  • the conduct of sellers or buyers

  • the quality or legality of listed items

  • disputes between users

  • losses arising from transactions.

Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk.


15. Compliance With Laws

Sellers must comply with all relevant laws including:

  • Australian Consumer Law

  • motor vehicle sales regulations

  • equipment safety regulations

  • licensing laws applicable to dealers.

Anything Marketplace may cooperate with regulators or law enforcement where required.


16. Changes to Seller Terms

We may update these Seller Terms from time to time.

Updated terms will apply from the date they are published on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
